Amazon Redshift provides ODBC drivers for Linux, Windows, and macOS X operating systems. Before you install an ODBC driver, determine whether your SQL client tool is 32-bit or 64-bit. Install the ODBC driver that matches the requirements of your SQL client tool. Otherwise, the connection doesn't work. Want to learn how to get started using Redshift with Cinema 4D? In this tutorial, Chad Ashley walks you through all the starting points. Redshift is quickly becoming one of the most popular third-party render engines, especially among Cinema 4D users. It’s really fast, and can deliver amazing results. The Cinema/Redshift bundle uses the new Maxon license entitlement system and does not use activation keys. You should ignore any mention of the Redshift licensing tool or activation keys in the installer and online documentation. Simply install Redshift and run Cinema. During the presentation, Apple stated that the new Mac Pro would be compatible with Redshift. As Chad Ashley points out, It is exciting that there may be some competition in the GPU space as it relates to rendering. Redshift is actively being developed for Metal. JetBrains just released DataGrip ( JetBrains DataGrip: Your Swiss Army Knife for Databases and SQL ). I've been using it full time during the EAP (aka 'beta'). It's expensive ($90/yr or $9/mth) but very, very good. Never loses your work.
