Synopsis:Ash, Brock and Misty travel to Cinnabar Island where Ash hopes to win his Volcano Badge. They are approached by a strange character speaking only in riddles while giving them clues on how. This second round of Orange Island adventures once again features Ash and the rest of the gang in 12 episodes of Pokemon mayhem. In them, Ash and Pikachu set off on a new adventure and, while they must leave behind some old friends, they meet a number of new ones on their travels through the Orange Islands.

The following is a list of all of the English language home video releases of the second season of the Pokémon anime, Adventures in the Orange Islands, in the United States and Canada (DVD Region 1).

Pokemon Adventures On The Orange Islands Episode 3

In Region 1 releases, the episodes are ordered and separated according to Viz Media season (which correspond to opening themes), rather than by standard seasons (in the same way as on Pokémon.com).

Partial collections

Three Adventures in the Orange Islands single DVD releases were released by Viz Video and distributed through Ventura Distribution between 2002 and 2003, containing all 36 episodes across them all, each volume having one disc with 12 episodes. The DVD covers refer to the season as Adventures On The Orange Islands. Optional English closed captioning is included on the DVDs.

Volume 1 includes a trailer for Celebi: The Voice of the Forest. The opening and ending themes do not play on every episode in Volume 1. Pikachu's Jukebox is not included on the DVDs, but Who's That Pokémon? is.

The DVDs are exactly the same as the 2008 and 2015 releases.

Adventures On the Orange Islands box set

The Adventures in the Orange Islands box set was released by VIZ Media on May 20, 2008, the cover referring to the season as Adventures On The Orange Islands. It contains three discs with 36 episodes across them combined. Its catalogue number is DPMBS4. Optional English closed captioning is included on the DVDs.

The DVDs are exactly the same as the 2002/2003 and 2015 releases. Disc 1 includes a trailer for Celebi: The Voice of the Forest. The opening and ending themes do not play on every episode in Disc 1. Pikachu's Jukebox is not included on the DVDs, but Who's That Pokémon? is.

Pokémon: Adventures in the Orange Islands - The Complete Collection

Pokémon: Adventures in the Orange Islands - The Complete Collection was released by VIZ Media and distributed by Warner Home Video on May 5, 2015. This Complete Collection contains three discs with 34 episodes across them combined. It consists of a single DVD case in a slip cover. Optional English closed captioning is included on the DVDs. Disc 1 includes a trailer for Celebi: The Voice of the Forest. The opening and ending themes play with every episode on Discs 2 and 3, unlike Disc 1. Pikachu's Jukebox is not included on the DVDs, but Who's That Pokémon? is.

The DVDs are exactly the same as the 2002/2003 and 2008 releases except that the 2015 release does not include Stage Fight! or The Mandarin Island Miss Match. While never officially stated, this is likely due to these episodes including Jynx.

About Episode – Ash and his friends are on Valencia Island searching for Professor Ivy, so they can receive a mysterious Pokéball called the GS Ball. They find Professor Ivy’s Pokémon Laboratory where the professor shows them the GS Ball. As the ball cannot not be opened or transported Ash and his friends are tasked with returning the GS ball to Professor Oak for examination. Brock decides to stay on the island with Professor Ivy so that he can learn about Pokémon. Ash and Misty leave without Brock and board a dirigible (airship) but encounter Team Rocket. Team Rocket calls Ash ans Misty “a pair of lovebrids”..eventhough they bought said No..they both were blushing. In the end, Jigglypuff suddenly appears and sings. Team Rocket and Jigglypuff exit the blimp while the blimp crash lands on Tangelo Island.
